Reminder: "Setting Up a Production GPU" Workshop – Tomorrow, 24th June 2025

This is a reminder about our upcoming hands-on workshop:

Date: Tuesday, 24th June 2025

Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM GMT

Location: Online via Google Meet (Link will be shared a few hours before the event)

We will discuss:

Choosing a GPU Provider: Options include Digital Ocean, Vast AI, and Runpod.
Creating a Linux Server: Guidance on navigating the UI to create a GPU server with preferred configurations.
Authentication Methods: Details on SSH (recommended) and password-based authentication.
Installing Key Dependencies: Instructions for Anaconda/Miniconda, Python Virtual Environment, GPU drivers (nvidia-smi), CUDA dependencies, and other necessary dependencies.
Starting and Connecting to a Remote Jupyter Notebook Server: Steps for setting up and connecting to a Jupyter Lab environment.
Running Training Scripts in the Background: Information on how to execute training scripts in the background
